PoE 2 How to Locate Vorana, Last to Fall Quickly

If you have been grinding your way through the endgame of Path of Exile 2, you know that tracking down specific Kalguuran bosses can feel like a guessing game if you don't know exactly what to look for. Vorana, Last to Fall is one of those encounters that many players end up running in circles trying to find. Fortunately, her spawn isn't completely random. If you follow "The Grand Expedition" questline and know how to read your Atlas, you can track her down without wasting hours on the wrong maps.

Here is a straightforward, step-by-step breakdown of how to get Vorana to spawn and how to find her tomb once you are in the map.

1. Progress "The Grand Expedition" Quest
First things first: you cannot stumble upon Vorana by pure luck in standard maps early on. She is tied to a specific progression step within the Kalguur questline. To unlock her encounter, you need to push through the early stages of "The Grand Expedition."

Keep moving through the initial parts of the questline until you face and defeat Medved, the Fallen Seer.

Once Medved goes down, he will drop a crucial item: Vorana's Logbook.

Take this logbook back to the Ruins of Kingsmarch. Using it there will update your Atlas and uncover a fresh batch of island maps on the sides of your screen.

2. Identify the Correct Island Map
Once those new islands appear on your Atlas, Vorana will be waiting on one of them. You just need to scan the nodes carefully to figure out which one it is.

Check the Tier: The specific instance you are looking for requires a Tier 11 Waystone to open, so make sure your build is ready for a T11 fight.

Look for the Indicator: Look closely at the newly revealed islands situated on either the left or right side of Kingsmarch on your Atlas overlay. The correct island will have a clear, unique quest boss indicator sitting right on the map node.

Focus Your Runs: Don't clear the other islands hoping it progresses a meter. Only running that specific, marked island map will progress her tracker and let you fight her. Saving your Waystones and focusing solely on this node is the key to doing this quickly.

3. Locate Vorana's Tomb In-Game
After you pop your Tier 11 Waystone and step into the correct island map, the hunt moves to the actual zone layout.

Right at the entrance of the map, you should see Tujen, the Black Scythe Mercenary NPC standing nearby. This is your confirmation that you are in the right place.

Open up your overlay map and start exploring. You are looking for a distinct Black Skull icon to pop up on the fog of war.

Head straight for that skull icon. When you arrive, you will need to place explosives to detonate the site and unearth Vorana's Tomb. Once blasted open, you can enter the underground dome to kick off the actual boss arena.

Quick Combat Tip for the Fight
When you step into the arena, keep in mind that Vorana uses a punishing arena-wide mechanic. She surrounds herself with a constantly shifting ring of black fog. If you panic and step outside of this circle, the outer darkness will shred your health bar with massive damage over time. To stay alive, you have to stay close—treat the zone right next to her as your only safe haven and move with her throughout the entire fight.
