This is a quote from a relatively obscure author. As someone who is lucky enough to know how enjoyable the company of someone can be, I immediately recognized it as the truth. I think it can be generalized to all good things in life that we will only get a chance to experience briefly.

I immediately recognized it as the truth. I think it can be generalized to all good things in life that we will only get a chance to experience briefly.
